Neurotech Pharmaceuticals focuses on developing innovative treatments for various retinal diseases, including Macular Telangiectasia Type 2. For patients with MacTel Type 2, Neurotech has been developing a treatment known as NT-501, which is an encapsulated cell therapy (ECT) implant designed to deliver a consistent, long-term release of ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) to the retina.

The ask
Creating a website for MacTel patients who have central vision loss. This website provides patients and caregivers with educational information and resources. Website layout and components were tested with real MacTel patients to create an experience catered to their specific needs. Our team designed to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA compliance to make this website accessible to all who visit, including those with disabilities or who rely on assistive devices.
